何が注釈とみなされますか？
コメント、付箋、ハイライト、下線、スタンプ、リンクなど、ページの上に追加されたもの——元のページ内容の一部ではなく、別の注釈オブジェクトとして保存されているものすべてを指します。
フォームフィールドに入力したテキストも削除されますか？
いいえ——フォームフィールドの値は注釈とは別のものです。入力済みのフォームデータを固定したい場合は「PDFのフラット化」をお使いください。
Will this remove the underlying text or images, just the annotations?
Just the annotations — the page's original text, images, and layout are untouched. Only comment/markup objects layered on top are removed.
Does this remove digital signatures?
No — signature fields are a separate PDF object type from annotations and aren't affected by this tool.
Why would I want to strip annotations before sharing a PDF?
To share a clean copy without earlier reviewers' comments, highlights, or sticky notes visible — common before sending a final version externally.
Can I remove just the comments and keep the highlights, or vice versa?
No — this tool is all-or-nothing. It clears the entire annotation list from every page in one pass, so comments, highlights, links, and form field boxes are all removed together. There's no option to pick and choose which type goes. If you only want certain annotations gone, delete them individually in a PDF reader's comment panel first.
Will this break links or fillable form fields on the page?
It can. Links and form field widgets are stored as page annotations, same as comments and highlights, so they get removed too. Clickable links stop working and fillable fields lose the box you'd click into to fill them in. If you need a working form or working links, don't run this tool on that file.
