Does this work on a mobile browser?
Yes — it's a regular web page, not an app you install, so it works the same way in a mobile browser as on desktop. Tap to browse for the file using your phone's file picker (or the app you're sharing the PDF from), type the password, and download the unlocked file — everything still happens on your device, nothing is uploaded.
I forgot my password — can you crack or recover it for me?
No. This tool removes protection when you already know the password — it doesn't guess, crack, or brute-force anything. Modern PDF encryption is built to make that impractically slow, so there's no shortcut here. If you've genuinely lost the password, try the person or system that sent you the file, or your own password manager, rather than a tool promising to recover it.
