目標サイズ（例：1MB）を設定すると、その制限を超えないように連続するページがまとめられます——ポータルがページ単位ではなくファイル単位でアップロード容量を制限している場合に便利です。
分割するとページの内容や画質は変わりますか？
いいえ——各ページは元の内容・書式・解像度をそのまま保ちます。分割はページを分けるだけで、再描画や再圧縮は行われません。
Can I extract a specific page range, like pages 3 to 8, as one file?
Yes — pick "Custom pages" and type the range (e.g. "3-8"). You can also list several groups at once, comma-separated (e.g. "1-3, 5, 8-10"), and each group downloads as its own file.
Is there a limit on how many pages I can split?
No — since it all runs in your browser, the only real limit is your device's available memory, not a cap we impose.
Is my PDF uploaded when I split it?
No — splitting happens entirely in your browser. Your file never leaves your device or touches a server. Most online splitters upload your PDF and promise to delete it after an hour or a day; here there's nothing to delete, because nothing was ever sent anywhere.
