These terms cover your use of FatafatPDF's tools and website. By using the site, you agree to them. We've tried to write these in plain language rather than dense legal boilerplate, because this is a small set of free tools, not a service with accounts, payments, or stored data to complicate things.

What FatafatPDF is

FatafatPDF provides free, browser-based PDF tools — merging, splitting, compressing, converting, signing, and more. Every tool runs entirely in your browser; no file you process is ever uploaded to our servers. No account, sign-up, or payment is required to use any tool. Acceptable use

You're welcome to use FatafatPDF for personal or commercial purposes, free of charge. You agree not to:

• Use the site to process content that's illegal to possess, create, or distribute in your jurisdiction.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or attack the site's infrastructure (for example, automated scraping or denial-of-service attempts).
• Attempt to circumvent, reverse engineer, or interfere with how the site or its tools function beyond ordinary use.
• Use the site in a way that infringes someone else's intellectual property or legal rights.

Because every tool runs locally on your own device, we have no visibility into what files you process — we can't see, monitor, or moderate file content. Responsibility for what you process and what you do with the output rests with you.

No warranty — use your own judgment on results

FatafatPDF's tools are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We work to make every tool accurate and reliable, but we don't guarantee that any tool's output (a compressed file, an OCR result, a digital signature, a redaction, or anything else) will be error-free, complete, or fit for every purpose — especially for tasks with legal, financial, or safety consequences. Before relying on a result for something that matters, check it yourself. This is particularly true for anything involving:

• Redaction — always visually confirm sensitive content is actually removed before sharing a "redacted" file with anyone.
• OCR — recognized text can contain errors, especially on low-quality scans; don't treat it as a substitute for the original where accuracy matters.
• Digital signatures — verify a signed document's validity through the reader/software you or the recipient actually rely on for that purpose.

Your files are your responsibility

Because processing happens in your browser tab and nothing is stored on our servers, we have no copy of any file you work with and no way to recover it if something goes wrong on your end — your browser crashes mid-process, you close the tab before downloading, or your device loses power. Keep your own backups of anything important before processing it, the same way you would before editing any file locally on your device.

Availability

We aim to keep FatafatPDF available and working well, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. The site may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, or a specific tool may change or be temporarily unavailable, without prior notice.

Intellectual property

The FatafatPDF name, logo, and the site's design and original written content belong to FatafatPDF. Several of the underlying PDF-processing libraries the tools are built on are open-source projects, used under their respective licenses. Nothing here gives you rights to our branding or site content beyond ordinary use of the tools; nothing here gives us any rights to the files you process — those remain entirely yours, and we never have access to them.

Third-party links

Some pages on this site link to external resources or reference other software and services. We don't control those third parties and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices — that's covered by their own terms and privacy policies, not ours.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, FatafatPDF isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or its tools — including lost data, lost time, or reliance on a tool's output. Given that every tool is free, runs on your own device, and never takes custody of your files, our practical exposure here is limited by design; this section just states that plainly as a matter of terms.

Changes to the service or these terms

We may add, change, or remove tools, and may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are intended to be interpreted under the laws applicable to FatafatPDF's operation, with a primary focus on serving users in India (reflected in features like the exam and admission-portal compression presets built into the Compress tool). If you're using the site from elsewhere, your local consumer protection laws may also apply and aren't overridden by this section.
