How does it detect blank pages?
Each page is checked for content — pages that are almost entirely white are pre-selected. It's a heuristic, not a guarantee, so double-check the selection before removing anything.
What if it misses a blank page, or flags one that isn't blank?
Click any page's thumbnail to select or deselect it — the automatic detection is just a starting point, you have full control before removing.
Will it flag a page with a faint watermark, stamp, or page number as blank?
It can — a very faint watermark, a small page number, or a light stamp might still count as "almost entirely white" and get pre-selected. Check each highlighted thumbnail before you remove anything, and deselect any page you actually want to keep.
Why didn't it catch a blank page in my scanned PDF?
Scanned pages often pick up some speckling or a faint shadow near the edge from the scanner, which can be enough to push a mostly-blank page just over the detection threshold. Look through the thumbnails yourself and select anything that looks blank but wasn't pre-selected.
I don't want any automatic detection — can I just pick pages myself?
