Convert HTML to PDF

Turn an .html file into a PDF, keeping its layout, fonts, and images, right in your browser.

How it works

  1. Upload your .html file.
  2. It's rendered exactly as a browser would display it — layout, fonts, and images included.
  3. Download a ready-to-share PDF, paginated across as many A4 pages as it takes.

Does this preserve the exact visual layout?

Yes — unlike the Office-format converters on this site, HTML to PDF aims for a visual match to how the page renders, not a text reconstruction. What you'd see opening the file in a browser is what ends up in the PDF.

Will external stylesheets, fonts, or images load correctly?

Only if they're referenced with an absolute URL the browser can actually reach, or embedded directly in the file (inline CSS, base64-encoded images). A single exported .html file with everything inline works best; relative links to other files on your computer won't resolve, since nothing is uploaded anywhere for them to be fetched from.

Does any JavaScript in the file get run?

No — the file is rendered in a locked-down sandbox with scripts disabled, so nothing in it can execute. Only the page's static layout and content are captured.

Can I convert a live webpage by its URL instead of a file?

Not directly — browsers won't let a page fetch another website's HTML from client-side code. Save the page as an .html file first (most browsers offer "Save Page As" or similar), then upload that file here.

Is my file uploaded to a server to convert it?

No — conversion happens entirely in your browser. Your file is never uploaded to a server or seen by anyone else.
