QR Code to PDF
Type any text or URL — get back a printable PDF with the QR code.
How it works
- Type or paste any text or URL.
- Click Generate.
- Download a single-page PDF with the QR code and the encoded text printed below it.
Is my data sent anywhere to generate the QR code?
No — the QR code is generated on your device from the text you typed. Nothing is uploaded or sent to a server, including the text or URL you're encoding.
What can I encode — just URLs, or any text?
Any text — a website URL, a Wi-Fi password, an address, plain text, anything a standard QR code can hold. It's read back as whatever you typed, not validated as a URL specifically.
Is there a limit on how much text I can encode?
QR codes have a real capacity limit — a few thousand characters at most, and the code gets visually denser (harder to scan reliably) the more you pack in. Keep it short for a QR code that scans easily from a distance or in print.
Can I scan the QR code straight from the PDF, or do I need to print it first?
Both work — most phone cameras can scan a QR code directly off a screen, so you don't have to print the PDF unless you want a physical copy.
Does the PDF show the text underneath the QR code?
Yes — the text you encoded is printed below the QR code (truncated if it's long), so anyone looking at the PDF can see what it points to without scanning it.
