Resize Photo & Signature
CUET wants your photo at 200×230px under 200KB. IBPS wants your signature at 140×60px under 20KB. Pick a preset or type your portal's exact numbers — we'll crop, resize, and compress to fit.
How it works
- Upload your photo or signature.
- Pick Photo or Signature mode, then a preset or your own exact pixel size and KB range.
- Click Resize.
- Download the result — everything runs in your browser, so your photo never touches a server.
The image is cropped to the target aspect ratio first, centered on the original, then scaled to the exact pixel dimensions — never stretched. It's then re-encoded as JPEG at the highest quality that still clears your maximum size, and checked against your minimum if you set one.
What size does your portal actually want?
| CUET photograph | 200×230px, 10–200 KB |
| CUET signature | 140×60px, 10–50 KB |
| IBPS/banking photograph | 200×230px, 20–50 KB |
| IBPS/banking signature | 140×60px, 10–20 KB |
| RRB/Railway photograph | 320×240px, 50–100 KB |
| RRB/Railway signature | 140×60px, 30–50 KB |
| Any other portal's exact figure | Type it into the custom fields |
These are the specific, cited pixel dimensions we could confirm. Every portal changes requirements between cycles — check your specific form before submitting, and use the custom fields for any portal not listed here.
The document-size side of these same portals:
Why does it crop my photo instead of just resizing it?
Stretching a photo to a different aspect ratio distorts faces and signatures — a passport photo squeezed to fit a wider frame looks visibly warped. Cropping to the target aspect ratio first, centered, then scaling to the exact pixel size keeps proportions correct while still hitting the exact dimensions a portal checks.
Will this get me under the minimum size too, not just the maximum?
Yes — several portals (IBPS, RRB, MahaDBT) reject a file for being too small, not just too large. If you set a minimum, the tool checks the result against it and tells you honestly if even full quality landed under that floor, rather than silently handing you a file that fails the other way.
My portal isn't in the preset list — what do I do?
Use the custom width, height, and size fields below the presets — type in the exact pixel dimensions and KB range your specific form states. The presets only cover portals where a specific, cited pixel size was confirmed; every other portal's figure works the same way through the custom fields.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere to be resized?
No — cropping, scaling, and compression all happen inside your browser tab using the Canvas API. Your photo or signature never leaves your device.
Can I use this for a signature scanned on paper, not a digital photo?
Yes — upload the scanned signature image the same way. Sign in dark ink on plain white paper and scan or photograph it flat and well-lit before uploading; a cleaner source image compresses more predictably to a tight KB target than a shadowed or angled one.
Does it work for a document photo, not just a face photo?
It works on any image — the crop and resize logic doesn't care what's in the picture. It's built around passport-style photo and signature specs specifically because that's the recurring, exact-dimension case exam portals check.
